Blocked before it loads
A dangerous page never loads; a warning page explains what happened instead. Individual trap pages on trusted platforms such as Google Sites, Google Forms or file-sharing services are recognized by their full address, without blocking the whole platform.
Look-alike (homograph) protection
Addresses that use letters from other alphabets to imitate banks, payment services and well-known brands are checked after decoding Punycode. secrаd.app looks right at first glance, but its «а» is Cyrillic.
Current threat data
A list compiled from national and international security sources, including Turkey's USOM, is downloaded signed. The extension only downloads the list; it never asks the server which site you are visiting.
You're in control
Turn protection on or off with one click and see what was blocked today and this week. Allowlist the sites you trust, or open a blocked site for 10 minutes with “Continue anyway” when you need to. Online banking pages are never inspected.
After installing, open secrad.app/test/phishing; the SecRAD warning page should appear.
